Employment Services
Employment development, exploration, and support services.
This service focuses on those persons who choose to obtain community employment.
The person is assisted by a Direct Support Professional (DSP), or job developer, to choose job interests, explore jobs, learn how to apply to jobs, and obtain a job.
Once obtaining the position, a job coach will be assigned to assist the person in learning the job and continue to support them short or long- term. Two of our individual job sites include cleaning at our local printing business, or shredding paper at our Southwest Health and Human Services building.
Our services also include transportation to and from the DAC or job sites. This transportation is funded through waived services monies provided by government entities.
